About This Glove

This Rawlings Heart of the Hide PROR314-2B has been part of one baseball family's story for years. Originally used by the oldest of three brothers in Visalia, California, it was passed down from brother to brother, with each spending at least a year playing the middle infield with the same glove. The oldest brother has since gone on to play college baseball.

This 11.5-inch right-handed infield glove features premium Heart of the Hide leather, a well-established pocket, and the broken-in feel that comes from years of playing baseball.

We've thoroughly cleaned and conditioned the glove to refresh the leather while preserving its character. It shows typical signs of use, including wear in the palm and a very small tear between the index and ring fingers near the palm. The tear is visible in the photographs.

Three brothers have already made memories with this glove. Now it's ready for another infielder to add their own.

This Glove’s Story

For three brothers growing up in Visalia, California, this Rawlings Heart of the Hide was more than just a baseball glove. It was a family hand-me-down that followed each of them onto the diamond.

It started with the oldest brother, who has since gone on to play college baseball. When he was ready to move on, the glove passed to his younger brother, and eventually to the youngest. Each spent at least a season trusting it in the middle infield, carrying on a family tradition with the very same glove.

Three brothers. Three chapters. One glove. Now it's ready for the next player to become part of its story.
